I’ve noticed over the past few weeks that the wordpress theme used by this website has become quite popular. This blog is run on the Wordpress platform and I’ve used the Cutline for several months. Well the Cutline has been bought and I’m sure it will be become even more popular in the next few months. Pretty soon the web will be flooded with similar looking blogs.
It might even be time for me to start thinking about doing some redesign work. I’ve started to look at various different web templates that are available on the internet.
The advantage to using one of these templates when you design a website is that they work properly. Its really that simple. What should you spend hundreds of hours trying to design something when its already been done right by someone else.
You can get really simple templates for websites like this one. A blog template does not require to much programming beyond a certain level. When you start looking at full site templates than things can start to get more complicated. In that case you have to start worrying about the overall structure of your website and how easy it will be to add content in the near future.
