More business help

June 14th, 2007 · No Comments

One thing about setting up the business accounts for my buddies was the fine print. You always have to watch the fine print in any business deal and setting up the credit card merchant account was the percentage differences.

All the information that I have received talks about the quality of services, call centers for help and other standard business issues. But why would I like to pay an extra one per cent on every sale just because your bank wants to make more money.

Also another issue is fees. There are monthly fees and money transfer fees associated with some banks. The better merchant accounts do not charge application fees. They realize that they will be making some serious cash of your business in the long run once you start running up those sale totals. You have to ask yourself why are they looking for an extra $50.

One more item that can cost you money is credit card equipment that is needed to run your system. If your potential supplier is only giving uyou one option its likely because they are again making a few extra bucks off your business. They are more concerned about their bottom line than their customers.
